What are your options
PMC are unable to assist with funding consultations, diagnostics or investigations. We recommend owners who are struggling to afford these look at our resource list (need to say what is listed are example only and not an exhaustive list)
Once a plan of care is known and if the owner has cost constraints they should discuss this with their vet to determine if alternative treatments or solutions can be found (eg. femoral head osteotomy instead of total hip replacement)
Once all other avenues of funding and discovery have been exhausted for a Victorian pet, an application for funding can be submitted to PMC for consideration.
