Michelle is on a carer’s pension with three sons to look after in Bendigo. Her three boys all have their own health and well-being challenges, one of which means they need medication three times per day. ‘Mocha’ is a therapy cat who’s been an unbelievable help to the entire family, they rely on her love and kindness.

Other than the huge costs of medication for her boys Michelle receives no assistance paying her rent and bills, so when ‘Mocha’ was bitten by a snake there was no doubt she would have been euthanized. “She is our world…. when you are down or something is wrong she is there to give you comfort. She is the most playful little girl. I have watched her grow from her being born to now, every day she gets better and better (since she was helped after snake bite) but we are still not out of the woods yet” The thankful Michelle said to PMC.
Hanna and the team at Passionate Vet Care were incredible with the treatment they gave ‘Mocha’, and with the help and case management supplied from PMC once we were contacted, the joyful little cat is on the way to make a full recovery from a potential life-ending situation.
Pet Medical Crisis relies on public donations to assist pensioners and disadvantaged owners who cannot afford life-saving veterinary care.
