19 yo Christina and her Mum discussed whether to take on a 13yo dog called Chief whose owner no longer wanted him. With one day before he was to be put down Christina adopted him. She taught him how to walk on a lead for the first time, to play with toys, meet and greet other dogs – and how to be really loved.
Pet Medical Crisis and Southern Animal Health helped out this lovely pair on Wednesday with surgical repair of his damaged ear. He did well and went home to be pampered and fed – heaven on earth!
Sadly this morning Chief became suddenly unwell, struggled with his breathing and passed away by Christina’s side. She is devastated but through her tears she knows how much Chief and she bought to each other in his twilight years.
Rest and heal sweetheart… Love from all your friends at PMC xxxxooooxxxx
