Robert didn’t know what to do to help his darling boy Jack who had been vomiting and unwell for a few weeks. He mentioned it to a shop owner in Malvern….
Jacqui who works close by met Robert and took a much needed interest in him and they struck up a conversation about his only companion.
Jacqui contacted Pet Medical Crisis and from there it’s was a process of getting blood tests and having appointments with the fabulous vets at Southern Animal Health.
Pet Medical Crisis were pleased to donate $885 to enable Jack to have both a dental and his overactive thyroid removed.
Jack came through his surgery smoothly and Robert couldn’t wait to see him again. Jacqui’s friend, Michelle was on hand to give them a lift much needed lift both ways.
Jack said: “Thank you very much for all you’ve done for us. I don’t have any family or friends left – Jack is my only companion.”
The Stonnington Leader’s story gave these guys and their helpers a wrap – definitely one for their scrap book!
Rest and heal sweetheart… Love from all your friends at PMC xxxxooooxxxx
Pet Medical Crisis relies on public donations to assist pensioners and disadvantaged owners who cannot afford life-saving veterinary care.
